Mojo’s Rhosneigr – crêperie, restaurant & bar
Mojo’s has been an eating institution in Rhosneigr since 2005.
In addition to the famous Mojo’s crêpes and galettes, you will also find a rustic menu fuelled with Mediterranean inspired food and drinks.
Rhosneigr has been well regarded as one of the most beautiful and versatile beach villages in Wales for generations. Famous for surfing, kitesurfing and in more recent times (and on calmer days) paddleboarding, it is a true beach lover’s dream.
The bustling village swells its population each summer, with visitors from all over the world, who enjoy frequenting the friendly, mainly independent businesses that call Rhosneigr their home.
After a busy day exploring Anglesey’s coastline, sunbathing or partaking in watersports what better than to relax and unwind with quality food and drinks.
Our small team are enthusiastic about our work. Crêpes and galettes are at the heart of our business and we love them. We want to keep the French flair and rustic feel that Mojo’s is known for, and with our re-vamped menu showcase tastes from the wider Mediterranean too.
An extensive refurbishment, including the re-location of the kitchen, took place when Mojo’s changed hands in 2019. Our choice of bright Mediterranean colours in the restaurant is intended to complement our menus, to create a space where customers can unwind and enjoy their dining experience. As part of the refurbishment we built a compact bar, and fed our thirst for interesting cocktails with our carefully constructed drinks menu.
Working with local suppliers and in turn supporting the local economy is a vital part of our business model. Our favourites include Anglesey Fine Foods, Becws Mon, Total Produce, Challenger Shellfish, Mermaid Seafood, Mon Crabs, Dolmeinir Meats, Plas Farm Dairy, Anglesey Chilled Foods, Condessa & SPC Gins, and many more.
I grew up on a farm in rural Anglesey and, if I’m not in the restaurant, you can most likely find me enjoying Anglesey’s great outdoors. I have been working in catering for 15 years, beginning my career with a stint at Konstam, London, under TV chef Oliver Rowe. I came home and opened Bradley’s deli in Benllech with my mum and best friend, which we ran for 10 years. I have catered over 50 weddings on Anglesey, rustic DIY tipi and bespoke marquee weddings where we provided local lobster, hog roasts and wedding food with a twist. Alongside this I was a seasonal chef on an Anglesey shooting estate for 12 years, which afforded me the chance to develop my chef skills, and to work with more unusual or exclusive ingredients.
Mojo’s is the culmination of my experience and I look forward to welcoming you all and sharing my love for food and Anglesey.
Awards & commendations
In 2010 we won Café of the year award on Anglesey, with Bradleys Deli.
The business then went on to receive the True Taste of Wales Award, in 2012.
We were named in the Top 10 Best Seaside Cafes in the UK by The Guardian, following recommendation by John Whaite, food writer and previous winner of the Great British Bake Off.
I was invited to work with Marco Pierre White, showcasing my recipes using the best Anglesey produce in a London food show – Season to Taste.

Evenings in Mojo’s are a little different. We have a small and unique menu, our food is simple and rustic, and we believe in using great ingredients, cooking them well and presenting them beautifully.
We have a small but specially selected wine list, with lovely wines from across the Mediterranean.
Our small plates starters mean you can select an array of lovely little nibbles to excite your palate.
We are famous for our big sharing platters, and our lobsters, which come straight out of the surrounding coastline – as fresh as can be. Our steaks are locally sourced and dry cured by our butcher in their Himalayan Salt Room. If you want a cosy relaxed evening with plenty of lovely food then book a table online… you won’t leave hungry! Where possible we like to use ingredients that are locally sourced including our lamb koftas and our Anglesey crab.
